about
liz is an avid felter, fiber enthusiast, and architecture student in seattle, washington. she is currently residing in kobe, japan, and writes about design and crafting in japan and the kansai area at feltcafe.blogspot
all the felt is made by hand, from fluffy wool before it's spun into yarn. with hot water, dish soap, and friction, the wool fibers become tightly interlocked. the result is dense, soft, warm and waterproof felt.
for a little more than a year, i have been crafting it up in kobe japan. in march 2008, i am moving back to the states. during the move, i will not be accepting any custom orders, and my etsy shop will also be on hiatus.
how to make felt kits for beginners are now available. for more information on wholesale or consignment please contact me.
i want you to be delighted with your purchase from felt cafe; if for any reason you are not, i will work with you to find a satisfactory solution.
